Ours began with our mother...

In 2001, our mother opened the doors to Poppy & Mae in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina, with one simple belief — that every woman deserves to feel confident, graceful, and completely herself.

We grew up inside those boutique walls — surrounded by soft fabrics, heartfelt conversations, and the warmth she so effortlessly created. What began as her dream became the heart of our family.

Then came the season we never saw coming.
Our mother became ill, and we had to face the unimaginable — life without her. It was the hardest chapter of our lives.

After her passing, we made a promise: to continue what she started.

Today, we carry her vision forward — honoring her spirit in every piece we curate and every woman we welcome.

The photo above was taken on our opening day in 2001. It's one of our most treasured memories — the moment her dream became real. We are incredibly proud of that day, and we keep this image here as a reminder of where it all began.

25 years later, Poppy & Mae is still built on love, timeless style, and women uplifting women.
